Happy 60th to the worlds BEST Mom!!!

This year we celebrated my Mom's 60th birthday! My sisters and I planned a surprise party. We invited the family and some of her closest friends. It was so fun planning it and trying to keep it secret(which for me in very hard) My Dad kept calling to give her status and we would end the call with a very "detective over and out"
My Dad drove her into town to get his parents and as soon as they were out of site the cars started rolling in. We were unloading all the food, presents and the cake!
After the big surprise and food we all gathered around to say a few words about my wonderful mother! We laughed, cryed and took time to recognize the remarkable person she is!
Some of the things mentioned were,
- Wishing you could bottle her laughter
- Taking all of her kids and any others that she had taken in at the time on adventures, including State highschool rodeo, camping, disneyland, and many more.
- Her love for shopping and how it has rubbed off on her girls.
- Being not only a mom but a best friend
- Taking her boys to sports and cheering like they were superstars (lets face it, they aren't very athletic)
-Always cheering for the underdog
- being an amazing example of how to truely endure to the end, seeing the challenges she has had to face and always staying true to her testimony.
- Being a Mom to so many different children and taking in kids from all parts of the world!
-My Dad mentioned how he was the lucky one, and can't imagine what he would be without her, I think I can speak for everyone and argree that WE truly are the LUCKY ones!
Larue - We have all been friends with forever!
